TUF is all about highlighting talent who're making unpredictable and unique moves in the fashion industry. We’ve long been following Olivia Rubens, a Toronto-born womenswear line whose collections are bold, structured, and TUF AF!

Olivia Rubens uses eco-friendly, naturally dyed GOTS certified fabrics and recycled synthetics in all of their products, and the brand does a damn good job at changing the often bland perception that comes with the word “eco-friendly.” The garments are designed to create a sustainable, high-fashion product, working to upcycle recycled fibres from the ground up.

Their inventive strategies support the theory of change that will entice consumers to embrace an earth-friendly garment cycle: less fast fashion, more locally produced items, and a longer wear life. Fuck yeah!

Not only is Olivia Rubens eco-friendly, but they pride themselves on their social entrepreneurship, contributing to charities that empower women, providing economic stability and development, raising awareness about the gender inequalities in the workplace, and assisting in making effective positive changes for women in the workplace.

Olivia Rubens’ FW 18/19 collection, Matriach, will be available online via www.oliviarubens.com
